During the current pandemic, addiction treatment is every bit as important as it is when a virus is not causing trouble for people in our country. If you require addiction treatment, you likely wonder if it is safe while COVID-19 is still causing distress to those who contract it. Is it safe to obtain treatment? Where can you go to get treatment? At Red Oak Recovery addiction treatment center, we take every precaution necessary to provide a safe atmosphere for those in need of addiction treatment.

Addiction Treatment Is Especially Necessary During This Time

While people are trapped at home due to mandates of all types because of COVID-19, the possibility for addiction to escalate in intensity is a major concern. People tend to turn to alcohol or drugs at times when uncertainty about the pandemic is a concern. Many fall victim to stress because of the virus, as well as depression from staying away from others. These are problems that many people deal with during times when they cannot control the outcomes associated with them.

Plenty Of Outdoor Experiences To Aid With Addiction Treatment

A treatment center that provides outdoor areas to frequent is especially important during a pandemic. Instead of remaining indoors where the chance of contracting the virus is greater, spending time in the wilderness decreases the chances of exposure. At Red Oak Recovery, we have many outdoor opportunities as a holistic treatment for those dealing with addiction. We encourage guests to spend as much time as necessary for exploring our grounds during their treatment procedures. We use this holistic treatment all year long, and guests find it to be soothing, encouraging, and relaxing.

Recovery For Substance Use Is Essential

All recovery treatment centers are essential services. During COVID-19, be aware that you have every right to obtain treatment for substance use at any time. Our facility is open for business, and our caring staff is ready to assist with treatment as soon as you walk through the door. We will remain open to provide guests with the necessary treatment to stop alcohol or drug abuse successfully.

Precautions Are Taken For Your Safety

In addition to providing outdoor activities as a treatment option, Red Oak Recovery treatment center takes all precautions necessary to keep our clients as safe as possible. We have guidelines available for our guests to follow, so each and every person who wishes to go through a treatment process has the chance to do so without worry. We have plenty of hand sanitizing stations on the premises and encourage the use of face coverings at times when you get together with other guests to discuss treatment together. In addition, we know the importance of social distancing, yet still hold meetings together from the required distance, so you can speak with others while remaining safe.

Red Oak Is There To Help During The Pandemic

While this pandemic is still prevalent, treatment options are still available. Red Oak Recovery offers several programs for those struggling with addiction. We have gender-separated facilities that offer a variety of treatment, including holistic measures and traditional options. Some of our treatment options include:

  • Wilderness therapy
  • Experiential therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • 12 step addiction recovery
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • Dialectical behavior therapy

We understand the importance of obtaining help at a time that is uncertain in many aspects. Therefore, we encourage you to contact us at 866.457.7590 to find out more about our treatment options and how we help those struggling with addiction. We look forward to meeting you and helping you with a successful treatment program to better your life.
