What Is the Red Oak Recovery® Community?

The Red Oak Recovery® community is a group of individuals who are committed to sobriety and to supporting one another in recovery. Our community includes staff and clients who share a common goal of achieving and maintaining sobriety.

The Red Oak Recovery® community is based on the belief that addiction is a disease that can be treated. We know that addiction recovery is a process that requires time, effort, and commitment. Our treatment programs are designed to support our clients as they navigate the challenges of recovery and to help them develop the skills they need to live healthy, productive lives.

As our clients graduate from the program that best suits their needs, they move into aftercare planning and transitional living tracks. Here, they continue to receive the support they need while beginning to return to their normal routines.

Why Is the Addiction Treatment Community Important?

When people with substance use disorder feel isolated and alone, they are more likely to relapse. But when they feel supported by a community that understands their situation, they are more likely to succeed in sobriety.

The community-based approach to addiction treatment is vital because it provides clients with a support system of individuals who understand what they are going through. In addition, the community-based approach helps to normalize the experience of addiction and recovery, which can help reduce the stigma often associated with addiction.

The addiction treatment community also allows clients to develop relationships with others in similar situations. These relationships can provide much-needed support and encouragement throughout their lifelong recovery.
