We would like to share an important update to our family of programs in western North Carolina. Starting in October, the Foothills Campus in Ellenboro, NC will focus fully on serving adult men, in a residential setting, who are working toward recovery from substance use disorders.
Meeting a Growing Need
Substance use affects many individuals across the country, and men make up a large portion of those struggling. According to the National Center for Drug Abuse Statistics, nearly 20% of men deal with substance use disorder. In North Carolina alone, over 15% of adults aged 26 and older meet the criteria for a substance use disorder each year.
With these numbers rising, the demand for high-quality treatment for men has increased. By transitioning the Foothills campus into a dedicated men’s residential recovery center, Red Oak Recovery® is expanding access to care at a critical time.
A Commitment to Specialized Care
