From Our Director
Thank you for your interest in our program.
We understand the difficulty you, your family, and others have had in dealing with substance abuse. Unlike most other addiction treatment programs, Red Oak Recovery® focuses exclusively on treating young adults. Our program is not a “track” or a “group.” All of our efforts are designed to help your loved one become the person they used to be, and that, in their heart of hearts, they still desperately desire to return to.
Our clinical rehabilitation focus is not only on substance abuse, but also the underlying emotional issues that accompany drugs and alcohol. We believe in addressing all presenting problems simultaneously and in an integrated fashion. Our state-of-the-art approach delivers therapy in a way that young adults can easily grasp and stay focused on.
At Red Oak Recovery®, we don’t believe in doing “treatment” the way it was done 40 years ago. We have made great strides in understanding substance use disorders, trauma, and mental health issues, as well as young adult brain development and chemistry. Everything we do is based on current research and science.
We believe in treating the entire family. Research has shown that when the family gets involved in the treatment and recovery process the prognosis is much better. We have many resources to help families heal and undo the damage that has occurred.
The clinical expertise that the staff at Red Oak Recovery® has is unsurpassed in both its knowledge and experience in treating young adults for substance abuse, disorders, trauma, and mental health issues. Our staff members are some of the most knowledgeable and well regarded in the industry. Most have national reputations for treating young adults and are recognized leaders in the field. Many are sought-after presenters and trainers for other staff and programs.
Our approach is based on compassion, respect, dignity, and rapport. People are willing to take risks and dig deep when they know that they are valued as human beings.
We look forward to being of service to you and your family.
